Another good one with Will Robie. David Baldacci is always
right on.
Giving Depth to the character I have not been disappointed by any book David Baldacci has written and I've read all but a very few - and I'm working on those. Will Robie is one of my favorite characters, perhaps because I was introduced to the author through The Hit which is the first of this series.
The best part of Baldacci's writing for me are the characters he's brought to life. I've always wondered what went into making Will Robie the man he became and this look at his roots helped make his character more understandable.
the guilty Very disappointing Baldacci novel. Slow moving, predictable plot. Not his usual thriller quality.
Riveting Plot After more than 20 years Will Robie returns to Mississippi to help his estranged father who has been convicted for murder. Robie meets his stepmother and two year old half-brother and tries to find out what happened to his first love who failed to run away with him when he left home 20 years ago. Soon several people are murdered. Will and Jessica Reel need to sort out why. The story is gripping and full of malevolence. As usual—a spellbinding novel from a terrific author.
The Guilty The ending was totally unbelievable. Ridiculous!
