A must read This very readable novel based on an ordinary man''s weekend with the Trinity is inspired in its ability to help one get their arms around difficult questions regarding our relationships with God and helps answer troubling questions about God''s role in the world. A must read to better our relationship with our Creator!
Great book! This was beautifully written. I was a little bored in the beginning, but I'm glad I stuck it out & read the entire book.
Not for me This came highly recommended. Someone told me it was the best book she'd ever read. I almost always finish any book I start, but not this one. I thought it was awful!
shameful This book is a disgrace to a most high God. It was also very theologically skewed. Burning down the shack is by far more accurate!
Entertaining This was a very good book. Some parts were too wordy, but for the most part, it held my interest .. not from the very beginning but from the early beginning to the end. The book presented some provocative, alternative ideas to spiritual concepts that we have formed. It was most interesting to be introduced to the author's concept, but I would hasten to caution everyone that this book is not biblical, rather another human being's perspective of what "could" be..perhaps. It does make you become more focused on WHAT You believe and whether or not what was written has any impact on your beliefs. Very good, provocative, and thought provoking, but not a book to hold up as a support for any system of religious beliefs.
