Summary:
What a fantastic book! This book had a very mysterious feeling about it. The main character, Em, is the first to wake up in her "coffin" and by doing so makes herself the perfect candidate for leadership, but will she be able to withstand the emotional and physical stress that comes with the position? Read the book, find out for yourself.
I would rate PG-13 for mild language and suggestive content.
Cover appeal:
The cover was unique and stood out from the other books. It reflected the contents fairly well, but was confusing to me whenever I first picked it up.
Most compelling parts of the book:
The most compelling aspect of this book was to unravel the mystery of: where they are, who put them there, and why.
Disappointments:
It ended in a surprising way but since the author asked to not reveal the ending you'll have to read to find out what happened.

Summary:
A girl wakes up to the dark and a stinging pain in her neck. Fighting her way out of what she soons finds out to be a coffin, she assumes leadership of others like herself. They don't know who or where they are; all they hope for is to escape this place of seemingly endless corridors.
Cover appeal:
The person on the cover looks like the main character and I can recognize it's supposed to be her. But the circle on her forehead looks like they just overlapped it on the photo instead of looking like it was actually a part of her appearance. And this is just more of a pet peeve but no matter which way you hold it, she it always
upside
down
Most compelling parts of the book:
What really kept me reading the book was that Em was very practical and didn't play any games. She didn't let her emotions rule her head- she put the good of the entire group before one person and I really liked that.
Disappointments:
How the other characters (in the beginning) just kinda accepted Em as the leader without questioning it.
